-sunshine (Michelle)
if the world could only be seen
by the beauty found in smiles
collected to light each day
all it would ever need
is to put but a grin
on your sweet face
Happy Birthday, Sunshine...

-under the cloud coverage (with Michelle)
could you hear my heart's whisper
like bare feet sneaking through grass
the faint touch of lost fingers
on your back, how they lingered
in the warmth of my embrace
trying to make you feel safe
and fall asleep in my arms...

-cosmic bohemian
most nights you would never guess
she's afraid of the dark
for her drifting heart only lingers
in a sky full of stars
she knows not where to mingle
when Jupiter shines so bright;
to remember the child in days;
how the mirror was less opaque
and once-upon-a-time stories
made it harder to say goodbye....

-bending shadow
darkness indifferent as the shadow bends
around the last ounce of hope
wholehearted intentions enveloped
in the warmth of bitter tears I'd struggled
to keep hidden where they'd never be found
like old skeletons and lost treasure
as if they were imbued with things
I couldn't live with and everything
I didn't want to live without...

-the sociopath and I
gently I was lost before I leapt
impassioned by a view
which would not render
beyond simple fascination
recalling forgotten reasons I'd wept
upon the end of golden smile days
'twas sharp breath stitching up my sides
for a fine hearts intention
may run too far sometimes
thy fall began my death anew
to saunter away I would not stumble
and lay what died to rest with you
beneath the shadow of your soul ...

-winters embrace (Haiku)
the tree must let go
of dreams growing in the shade
and embrace winter
of dreams growing in the shade
and embrace winter

-bleed in silence // Collaboration with (Earth_Child)
You eat my heart
& bitter sweet poison
in shades of night
where I treasure
each terracotta tinted tear
that traced its way across
my knuckle kissed mouth
I've never been afraid
to risk it all between
your toxiferous layers
of alabaster symmetry
permeated with dark days
that linger in far-off places
until dead-eye memories
remind you of how
you've always been the target......

-shadow dancer
no one has ever cared to notice
all the times that she's died
so she stares at her reflection
like there's nothing to see
she feels like a ghost
with no place to hide
transparent and alone
like a colorless rainbow
searching for meaning
if she only knew
how her smile
is like the break of dawn;
how her soul lights the way
to places I'd never believed existed
brave shadow dancer
don't be afraid
for I know your heart better
than those whispers in the shade

-Danielle
when I think of you
it's as if my thoughts
are trying to pull the tides
away from the Moon
because sometimes
it's not easy
to go with the flow
I often find myself
wondering what it would mean
to steal a piece your heart
but the truth is
I already know the answer
and I just miss you...

-playing in the dark
I could have sworn winter was in season
yet there hasn't been many snow days
and no place for colorless smiles
to press against the pane of a cold window
so warm breath can help pretend
there was a sign of life...
as she had done, for too long
unlike the new year
an empath's heartache has no bounds
even though it would seem pointless
like letters left unwritten ...
