I was so very upset to hear this news. Elisha and I were just a few months apart in age. I'm glad she's no longer suffering, but I'll miss her so much, especially during NaPo.

I just found out and I feel like I've been punched in the gut.
We spoke briefly here and there. We commented on each other's writes occasionally.
Even though it was brief it now feels like butterfly kisses on my page.
Fluttering winged words that I will forever cherish.

Thank you so much for this thread, Ahavati.  I’ve stayed out of here, trying to avoid the pain of it all, but I realized this morning that I was also avoiding the beauty of it.  There is so much love here, and the tree is so fitting.  I miss Eerie and I hope her spirit is soaring ❤️
