finger written on misted windows
the muse has flown
smiling mockingly from silver clouds
at times gasping laughter ringing boldly
as the noises scratches into a crescendo
my quill bleeds no flowery words
nothing pretty comes of its ink.

i wonder
if you hear me
do you listen from there,
when I plead
into the darkness
do you know
just how much
and how often
do you think of when
can you feel the pull
every time your mind flashes
that certain draw
an exquisite ache
how it sears into all,
all those whispered vows
shared between you
and the dense night sky
damn, those envious stars
when they secret beckon
and twinkle to temp
such a sparkling tease
to become pure wonder
of
you

as I understand it there is now the option to use the #NoPoo tag when we post a poetry to our page. this is true for anyone in the site
what #NoPoo means to me is simple enough: straight up, no frills, poetry driven
more than that though I think it defined the man in question very well both in his friendship and his writings
personally I’d love to see the tag used site wide. I think these books are have been graced with excellent examples of what #NoPoo means/ stands for
essentially, you are the people who created it much more than my sporadic contributions
it would be fantastic if you would consider using the tag when you post
(sorry bout the long winded-ness)

Your thoughts

breaking laws of known physics

lush dense greens
moist from a kiss of rain
grow floor to an unseen skyline
jasmine vines
bend and curl
around massive trunks
gnarling into shrubbery
O' that scent—
proof of a certain deity
spanish moss plumes
languidly hanging
from branch tendrils
heavy, in a picturesque bow
humid afternoon breezes
gingerly waft
to calming soothe
as the sun warms
life itself
and a soul is renewed
to a perfect

of

really
