Money; The root of all evil
Our one true necessity:
A cancer
A disease only cured by knowledge
A stain embedded in the coarse fabric of progress
A splinter under the nail of our societal outlook
A tick on the tail of a dog in a cone
A sick kid drowning cats in knapsacks woven out of egos and greed

It dwells down underground
Quadrillions of yen euro dollar and pound
Encased in concrete metres thick
Money stacked up in walls of brick
A tomb of gold that must never be found
The use of money
What use is money if it’s in the earth?
What use is money if only a few have worth?
What use is money when you’re dead?
What use is money to your body and your head?
Do you actually need money to breath, eat, sleep, shit and walk?
You can’t eat money, dead paper presidents don’t talk?

In the damaged trustfunds of rich men,
It's never good enough!
It will never be enough!
In the devil's game of greed and lust we roll the dice as we gamble our lives for thousands,
But lose it all to the man with a greedy smile while he's enjoying the life of luxury as he's spending everybody's expenses.
As they are the ones that get to live behind white picket fences
we're the ones behind chained fences and dealing with eviction notices.
Why?, because it's all about the money.
You'd do it for the money,
You'd do anything for the money,
You'd give up anything for the money;
Do it for the money.
Your baby is starving while your husband is dying, but do they care?
Hell no!
They won't care!, if anything they are a pawn to their sadistic scheme.
You can scream it's all blasphemy, but honestly it's the truth.
Ruth needs a kidney,
baby Susie needs shoes for her feet,
But will they help them?
No!, they could care less.
Why?, because it's all about the money.
