Happiness

Teach me to see
and only see
How love exists
Everywhere

Open my mouth,
wade in my pulse
And teach me to sing
Everything

Teach me to dive,
into her eyes
And keep on swimming
To the core of her light

Repeat the human song,
Sing “There’s a whale in me”

Teach me to be
A juniper tree
To live and die
Peacefully

SUMMER DREAM

dreamed of
long days
under the light
of heaven,
my silver star
burning
and every
bead
of sweat
was holy

in summer heat
wings sprouted
from the blades
of my back
and i was
part angel
but still
weighted
by bone
and blood,
too heavy
for flight
though all my
prayers
were vapor
rising,
finding their way

in winter's grey
there is no such luck

rejoice

I feel joy
when the cool sky
touches the warm earth

I do not have the power
to make it rain but
I feel joy to see
the dewdrops
smiling on the petals

I don't have the power
to fly but I feel joy
seeing a flying heron
I feel joy when the moon
sees it's existence
in the oceanic mirror

The stars are not visible
in the jungle of concrete
but I feel rejoice
when those little dots of light
sometimes shine in the aura

I am quite an introvert
but I feel happy
when one’s delicate smile
forces me to smile

I feel joy
when magical white shadows
give happiness even
in the chaos of blue life

I feel joy
when i see tiny button nose
with magical watery eyes
and pinky smile of baby

I feel joy
when a childhood touches
the ocher sky
while sitting on a swing...

Yea Big

So few of us divine the length and width of joy unbound
inside the plastic swimming pool in which no child yet drowned.

The Joy of Knowing

The Joy of Knowing. . .

that in Spirituality
there is room for everyone,
no matter the god they serve,
nor how old or young.

Because we are all Spiritual
beings at the core
of this human cocoon
just waiting to emerge.

Retail Therapy

A little bit of shopping
Is the solution to my anxiety
A shiny new necklace
The answer to my despair
I love the thrill of the search
The hunt, the chase, the purchase
My closet is brimming with happiness
My home decorated with finds
The once in a moment discoveries
That proudly sit in my spaces
I don’t need someone to talk to
I just need my credit card
And a couple of hours of me time
And this is why
Women are the stronger sex
We have remedies to life’s problems
We can fix ourselves
We can shop!
