-Empty-
Slow Blues
The less I have to see is the less I have to feel.
So, kindly if you please, dim your lights on me.
But, even through this foggy mind, I still remember cheer.
Though best if sunny days forgot, if even ever neared.
Come night the blowing desert sands reign these dead end streets.
I turn a collar to the wind but dust-filled eyes still weep.
Another shot of whiskey to stem what lies inside.
And weigh the loss of long ago...if only to survive.
-Chorus-
Too numb to feel the pain
But, still it hurts just the same
So blind was I to smiling eyes
All lost...goodbye
-Repeat Intro-
Empty bottles and emptied friends, laid to barren path.
Gone the way of expectations. My, how God must laugh.
And, in the sweat of dreams, come ghosts finding seams.
Through cracks in floors and opened doors, they haunt my inner being.
Another shot of whiskey to close these forlorn eyes.
I raise the glass to better days and pray the sun to rise.
And the sun does rise, in these bloodshot eyes, as another morning burns.
So, light first smoke and pave the day, then pull the shades in turn.
-Chorus-
One flick left to the candle's light
One stain left on the palette's knife
One shot left of the Devil's rye
One more day of peace denide.
-Lead Guitar to Fadeout-

Drinking, Smoking and Screwing
I dos done and kisses shared
love exchanged pledged forever
golden circles on both their fingers
bond to stay through thick and thin
forever is not too long
when familiarity sets to contempt
the snores, the farts, the bad breath
vulgarity, short unsatisfying bed romp
the cocktails look good
the vodka finer with juice
the whiskey swirled among rocks
made her look like a siren
the buzz of beer and other spirits
hunked him up to her desire
his stale breath perfume
after a bottle of chardonnay
spirits so fine and mary-jane too
together they wrapped their dissatisfaction
in their drinks in their smokes
end up doing what they do best
screw it, they say, let’s just do it
to forget.

PRIVATE CHEF
The things I put
Between your lips
Will be both sweet
And savory
The mouth you open
Up to me
Shall salivate
Incessantly

Little shop of horrors
The treats as you pass displayed
the red lights shine music played
as I stood outside the the dirty glass
the hooker beckoned sex that cost a dollar less
the fish net tights sat on a stool
legs so long to make you drool
:the look: of you can steal my chastity
its price outweighs domesticity
the trap was set, the bait was took
the moment my virginity cause forsook
Madam said are we dealing, nothing here on tab
a weeks wages, for this hard up lad
down the grubby corridor damp and wet
came the rancid smell of sweat
cries I cant describe, smell of baby oil
mingled with leather, chains and cracking whip recoil
discarded condoms Durex packets ripped
picture of each fetish, point and take your pick
a business deal of what you'll fuck tonight
the window model to high a price
purchase best or worst have to trust pot luck
she gave me head, do not, do not erupt
and slowly ground my cock and teased
if you come i'll spank to delay for that release
and squeezed my balls till I climbed the walls
she said my youth was her Viagra pills
smooth skin un-corrupted bliss
her fresh prince she enjoyed my every inch
a pound of flesh exchanged
bitten with possessive depth deranged
the finger chisels the rubber mask
high heel imprints on my back and ass
the die was cast, the aces played
thirst was slated by games depraved
the beast put to sleep a ritual black mass
can the woman in you match the whore in the glass
the red lights shine music played
as I stood outside the the dirty glass

Grace, Luna, Satin, your entries are profound as they are provocative.
Michael and Slipalong, your hard boiled, tell it like it is writes, would make the great Mickey Spillane proud.
Reggie, your work made me laugh. It reminded me a poem that I wrote, and won, for a national nude day contest. Where a very elderly man encountered a young beautiful woman on a nude beach. I'll share it with you after the competition.
Please, anyone that's tempted to contribute a write, do so.

High Fives
…We lie there panting, gasping,
As if we sprinted, trying to catch our breath,
Looking up at the ceiling feeling,
Like we saw glory, and almost caught death.
But,
I gotta work on my fitness, or else illness,
Will take away the joy of the afterglow,
I’m not young any more but I still adore,
The way I can make you curl your toes.
Ooh,
And the things I thought I said in my head,
They escaped from my lips without restriction,
But it added fuel to the fire as it surely aspired,
For a faster, higher, quicker, slicker friction.
(Breathless)
It was a swift skittish, like a race to the finish,
Spontaneous, right in the moment then and there,
But in all fairness there’s something about bareness,
That quickly ignites like nothing else compares.
So…
In the next few minutes of that gradual descent,
Our hearts slow-down from the overdrive,
Smiling satisfied because now that we’re spent,
We congratulate each other with high fives.
