It was 11:12pm when I stepped on the other side of the portal
I found myself in the front yard of a house on the countryside
I took my helmet off looking up at the night sky filled with stars
Glad to be back on the ground and looking for my new guide
The porch light turned on and he came out slowly to greet me
His hair was almost white but I noticed he had many scars
“I’m glad to see you” he said hugging me like we were old friends
“How about a late supper you must be hungry after being on Mars”

“There he is” an older man greeted me as I stepped through
“We’ve heard you’ve been traveling the great vast of space”
There were several people standing next to him on a platform
“Welcome” another man said but I thought I recognized his face

Lost in Space - Titan
Walternate Universe Beta-2
I stood up looking in the middle of what was a hangar
Many large windows looked out into a very dark sky
The strange landscape seems hazy from the inside
While the giant planet and its rings loomed nearby
It’s quite a sight, one I could have only imagined
When the sudden realization finally came to mind
The engineers from Europa were supposed to send me home
Now I’m farther out and losing even more time
A giant rover appeared from behind a garage door

“How did you get here? What’s your Alpha designation?”
“R-O-O-92” I replied to a council of five behind a desk
“R-O-O is not an Alpha designation” one of them replied
“How did you get that brace?” another one inquired
