Periodic Table of Arguments
Oxygen, a fiery little redhead with a southern drawl, tapped her foot impatiently.
"Hydro, honey, you're fixin' to make a fool out of yourself. Carbon is obviously gonna choose me. We make water together, darlin'. Everybody needs water. It's the lifeblood of everything!"
Hydrogen, Oxygen's nervous little sister with a squeaky voice, wrung her hands.
"You're so bossy!" Whispering loudly. "So grabby! You hog all the electrons! I offer Carbon a nice, even share. Think of all the cool stuff we can build together – hydrocarbons, the...

Oh Elara, Where Art Thou?
Elara, a cartographer of the cosmos, traced the swirling nebulae projected onto the dome of her observatory. Dust motes, illuminated by the starlight simulator, danced like miniature galaxies. She wasn't charting constellations; she was mapping the spaces between them, the dark rivers where stardust flowed. Her grandmother, a woman who read the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves, called it "starmist," the veil between worlds.
Elara, a scientist, preferred the language of parsecs and light-years. Yet, sometimes, when the hum of the machinery faded, she felt a...

Softly Stargazing
I have been loving this awakening moment in time
It has taken me so many years to be in heart, mind, body and giving thanks to my soul
To not allow the small occurrence in life to rock my morale
It is best to live in the moment
I listen daily to so many troubled intellects and they scream for peace, serenity of their heart
Endorphins and Adrenaline is the body’s best friend
Such a natural high when both are merged is to calm or a flight in your weakened defense
If everyone would only tap into the resources of its on psychic ...

One Free Dream Card
Tell me this is not a dream. I’m sorry, yes it is, but do not worry because I have good news,
that life is but a transient dream.
We are all inserted into this dream with one dream-come-true card in our pocket. It is not ours to play. The cosmos will play it for us because it knows better, but when it is played it will be as unassuming and miraculous as the birth of a child.
On the karmic road, this will become a point of maturing, and will be laden with images that you have payed forward into your universe. Mere logic will not be able to logically assemble the...

The Loneliest Constellation
How can one be so lonely from the beginning,
From the cellular start
Before the tongue and breath have formed, before the light touches the baby
Maybe it was rotting in the marrow of my bitter father,
Tortured in a nebula of his own mind and violence
The infant understanding selfishness in the winning of all this existence
Yes, I should have let a son take my place

A Night in the Museum
I was attending a meeting
hosting a keynote speaker
whom I did not know
During the presentation
the internet connection was lost
and I found myself sitting
next to the speaker
discussing potential options
for a better connection
A fundraiser was suggested
while he politely asked
if I was a Sociologist
At that time, the host
a gangly old man, obviously
frustrated by our discourse
abruptly blurted out:
"We don't use oracle cards...

channeling the universes I see a thousand eyes staring at me
drinking in my humanity
sharing observations and personal judgements
we are not alone other galaxies are weighing in
using artificial intelligence to safely introduce themselves
preparing our minds to meet
they have recorded existence here and are a part of it
they want us to be aware
full of beautiful traditions and vastly intelligent
some of us share DNA with them
they have always been with us
we were sent here to learn
humanity is not...

Aioue - A Minimalist's Mainframe
Aioue (pronounced A-wah, with no emphasis on either syllable) is a way of seeing and living in the reality of the Source of all things. The word comes from the notion that it is made up entirely of vowels, which create the least amount of conscious intervention in the breath. Breath is a variation on a theme. For anything that grows it is the very definition of consciousness on any level. It is the eternal and the temporal residing in a one syllable word. Breath = Aioua
Life is re-animated when Aioua’s name enters again into you. It is spoken with every rhythmic cycle of breathing...

Covenant of the Stars (A Poem for Progress)
Journey to the Stars
We stand at the edge of a dream,
A whisper carried on the winds of time,
From ancient sands where Abraham walked,
A covenant made beneath endless skies.
He set forth, not knowing the road,
A man with faith as his only map.
He left the known for the promise of more,
A seed of hope in the soil of the vast unknown.
And now, we too are called,
Not to one land, but to all the heavens.
To chart the stars and claim the void,
To carry life where silence reigns.

SNAP TO. And so his eyes opened like a shock,
Like a firebrand, and they were cat eyes in the dark.
They were cat's eyes, shiny and sharp.
So into them
The stars did fall
One by one,
Tumbling through the window.
Every night, the stars
Went sliding,
Their fine, wet little points along,
Humming like tiny radiators
Of slippery stars,
Spilling over the boy as a saraband does, but jagged and molten,
Slow and almost Spanishly,
Beating rhythmic time in triplicate fantasia…

I.
I wish I was a Witch
imbued through grace
beget by the knowledge of Truth
to combat ignorance
I'd proudly proclaim the title
bowing to Mother Nature
for gifting me the moniker
of so brave the women
—maiden, mother, and crone—
who suffered under religiosity
from pointy fingers
and judgmental tongues
condemning them to death

To watch the Clear Night Sky
To watch the clear night skies, with what words and with which poem or brush can I at last shine a light on the mind of the searcher,
With what can I explicitly explain the divinity and sacredness of the stars of which cannot be seen, knowing with a depth of certainty they are there without changing the meaning,
How do I express myself when magnificence is just something wrapped in mediocrity in fair comparison, when searching to expose the truth and beauty of nature in the things that I cannot explain,
To try and explain a clear night sky, is...
