The End
The hidden sun hides
shadows over the cosmos
a cosmic breath entombed
colliding worlds, awaiting doom

Space Race War
this isn't a race war alone, it's a space race war
some of the most intelligent beings are held captive
in their defense, how do you fight what you can't see?
when no relief is given
when everything you have
you had to take
I eat like a barbarian
I know what it's like to starve
sometimes I buckle under the weight of the classes
tag teamed and born in a pit, still I get up
sorrow is rich off us
knowledge is gold
I'm not in the sharing mood, however
I've burned with it on my tongue before
I had...

Infinity
From the womb of the galaxy
We came spiraling down
Sparkling treasure of stardust
Cascading all around
We condensed into matter
Separate bodies forming shape
And for everything we've known
We have given a name
For the sun is our father
Phasing moon tells time
The earth is our mother
All easily defined
But two mysteries remain
Myths to be dispelled
Universal expansion
And the mind; parallel
We came spiraling down

Cascading all around
We condensed into matter

Sexuality, Space Junk, Parts and Labor
The world is sex
Not necessarily procreation
Heathens get away with just desserts
Out on the perimeter there are observers
Wondering about these objects at high altitudes
America keeps shooting them down
Space junk collected
One wonders what's inside ?
Dogs have it right
Sniffing each other, tails wagging
It's parts and labor for them
We wish sometimes to be on that leash
Not necessarily procreation
Heathens get away with just desserts
Out on the perimeter there are observers
Wondering about these objects at high altitudes
America keeps shooting them down
Space junk collected
One wonders what's inside ?
Dogs have it right
Sniffing each other, tails wagging
It's parts and labor for them

i listened
i listened,
no sound
was evident
in my ear,
the morning
was not
speaking,
he had
lost
his power
of speech
during
the night,
that unintended
spontaneous
moment
dissolving
into that
black river,
circling back,
the echo
will swarm
like rhyme,
once spoken
before.

WONDERFUL WORLD
It's the gray of the sky
That takes my breath away
It's the blue of the day
That's stolen by the rain
It's the thirsty lake that is replenished with every drop
The smile of the clouds that darken their gaze
Or the misty aura that wraps up my skin
It's the way I get lost in the haze
And once it has drizzled it starts to pour
The winds came up and brush me with the hail
But then the ice softens when it touches the ground
The world might be strong but it's already frail
It is I...
I who hold my hands...
That takes my breath away

There is Transformation in Death
For some species on earth,
there is transformation in death, a renaissance
if you will, becoming young all over again, whether you
see it as reincarnation or rebirth, a new life begins. There is
transformation in death, some lifeforms can be considered
immortal, the cycle continues underneath the ocean waves,
filling the sea with vibrant and deadly limbs. But that’s the
way nature has made them out to be, a wonderful creation of
beauty and wonder, for when their time comes, ...

Unseen Truths
Our stomachs shred themselves
to process over-emotional energy
A congress of educational facilities
is filled with hidden histories
and somewhere an adult is surprised
to learn of certain atrocities
committed by their own country
Asking why they weren't taught
the truth of a thing
before their 50th birthday
Why they were robbed
of enlightened opportunity
Somewhere, a white politician walks
in a three-piece Lazio and smirks
shadowed by a news crew

Gravimetric
The moon betwixt the new and full
goes through the afternoon,
then from the full the Earth will pull
it back to newly lune.
And thus as heaven's shuttlecock
it rackets to and fro
above the sultry summer stock
and over winter snow.
Thereby is how the game is played,
by every planetoid,
in varied orbitals arrayed
throughout the stellar void...
where nothing postulates the math
of nature as a psychopath.

Loving Me
Don't bring me down, don't bring me down
I can't take another lost
Please don't bring down, don't bring me down
I've got to win at any cost
With to many nights spent dreaming about you
To many secret poems written for you too
Ooh the lies in my diary
Of you kissing and loving me, Loving Me
I swear I can't take this fall
Rejection has my back against a wall
But the truth has gotta be
I gotta know if you also wake screaming for Me
Don't bring me down, don't bring me down
I can't take another lost
Please...
