... Table for One - Rebirth and Redux
I went into the restaurant
Requested a booth for one
I'll be here for awhile I said
Flipped the owner a $20
He set me up with a great table
My afternoon began with this write
Even in good company
The best days are a float
Weaving in and out of people traffic
I need dialog and can be open
Yet writing verse is my voice
Somber and reflective at twilight
Quiet and ominous at dusk
Keep the chemicals away from me
I've danced and twisted fate
Piecing myself back together again
Going it alone ...

sincere
loneliness emits a certain keen
if you're listening you will hear it
an emptiness that gnaws at the soul
indifferent to my own pain
it sometimes rises with pangs of ache
and I am taken aback
doubled over with pain
my heart's sorrow clearly seen
hidden deep within, I swallow it down
regretful emotion, I don't want you to see me this way
it hurts my pride to know you get to me
salvation in a hugs sometimes that's all it takes
a smile, to keep those uneasy feelings at bay
tender emotion, when I can express...
if you're listening you will hear it

WHEN I AM PARTED
When I am parted from my guy,
I maintain my orgasmic high,
kneeling like nude inverted Y,

A Reality Dream
Do you know why 🤨 WHY DO GOOD PEOPLE, HAVE THE MOST BAD LUCK IN THE WORLD. 🌍 WHEN TRYING TO BE WITH SOMEONE, YET WHO HAVE THE WORST RESULTS IN TRYING, TO FIND THAT ONE RELATIONSHIP, with real honesty and truth and trust. I'LL BOTHER YOU NO MORE
YES
I am a slow
learner but
once I learn
it is never
forgotten or
worth spending
idle time trying
to go through
a dead-end..
I
tried being coy,
casual and up front.
sometimes feeling
a brief ray of hope;
BUT
I have learned another
lesson in the life
of a wannabe poet:
"Enough fooling yourself."
I
will never bother

darkness doesn't need stars or a spark to highlight itself
gently shrinks the twilight's brimming eyes
to a bokeh of starry diamonds in fluffiness
flows from the frontally stared nothings
to the unfocusingly glanced sideways
in some subtleties
how easy it is for you
to shed this love
and wear on
those fading shades
at such rudity precision and pace
that even shames a chameleon
how whorish you try make me feel
from your roughened tongue
that's dismembered
from lively arterial strings
since unremembered times
as you spell black and white...
