Most Earth Shaking News Gets Short Shrift
Tree mend us sappy weird
human interest stories rarely appeared
back in the day online, whereas
at present (the toasted,
digitally papered, and lacquered
drab heron nah owl pablum),
not spared, but repeated,
a bajillion times showcased
finds me clicking past beard
did and bared naked ladies
(and/or men), paired
with nauseatingly, predictably,
and repeatedly, those
bland posts, veered
as popular cult
chore, which someone
deemed apropos as
pulp yule har audience -...

Schism
A wise man stands in front of a large group preaching words of wisdom,
words to inspire, give hope and provide lost souls with a clear vision.
A teacher of the catechism,
keeping struggling souls out of prison
by teaching them of the kingdom
and exposing a corrupt system.
What he lacks in looks, he makes up for in charisma.
Some accuse him of creating a schism.
Others accuse him of running a corrupt business

So What About History?
Things I like about the country
lack of memory about history isn't one
ignorant of past mistakes and atrocities
when the course of the day is done
Recalling misadventures in imperial instincts
modern presidencies don't offer much hope
elites rely on masses being distracted or numbed
addicted to various manifestations of dope
Think of Cuba and the suspicious ship's explosion
which provides an excause for Teddy and his Rough Riders to ride
or maybe how Hawaii's road to self determination ...

"Undressing" Bible Prophecy
The Bible = the Wisdom of God.
The Book of Proverbs speaks of Wisdom as though it is a Woman(Proverbs 8.1).
So we can think of studying the Bible as like being with a woman.
A woman doesn't reveal her body to just anyone.
Only the man in a covenant relationship of marriage gets full access to her hidden depths.
Likewise, with the Bible, she doesn't open up for just anybody. You have to court the Bible, then marry her, so to speak.
You have to unite with(in) the scriptures, to experience the quiver, the spiritual spasm, of discovery; the...

Which Nations Are the First and Second BEASTS ??
The SDA Church claims that the first Beast(Revelation 13.1) = the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church.
But the second Beast (Rev 13.11-13) is the USA !!!
That is totally mistaken.
The First Beast will "make war against the saints and will defeat them,"
gaining power over the world -- "over every nation."(Revelation 13.7).
The Roman Church can not wage world war.
And world war is what that passage is suggesting !!
If the SDA folks would simply read Ez 38-39, they would see that
Russia ("Magog") is the name of...

In Question of My Humanity
Would I give up the comforts I have been afforded to help others?
To what extent would I go in this endeavor?
These are questions I ask myself as I sit in the comfort of a warm home, observing world happenings on my 55" flat screen television, sipping a glass of wine while relaxing in my recliner and typing this on my just purchased new laptop. I now pause long enough to gaze out my window at the peaceful scene of the river that runs just across the quiet road that leads into the park just down the way and I think of the loving, near 50 year marriage I have enjoyed...
To what extent would I go in this endeavor?

What Is The Difference Between George Washington And Me??
The pastor at the church I used to attend had the nerve to single me out at the Wednesday Bible Study as a "lawbreaker."
I had set fire to an abortion clinic and served 16 years in prison before becoming a member of that church.
The preacher that night must have been teaching a lesson about the role of the government in society and the Christian duty to obey the government.
This old backwoods preacher claimed I was wrong to put the lives of babies above the obeying of the law.
Yet he had the nerve to claim that if he had lived in the time of the American...
