Blindness Of The Eyed Ones
It's so easy to write more words
vanity and levity, that say less
much the same when you talk too much
while your speech is meaningless
even at more lower level when you lie
in this mature age and awareness...............
when the child lies we blame the kid
scald him sometimes, hurt his feelings
don't we realize that they are our seed
Then, we reject the crops that we have sown
shameful when the child read our sickness,
see our vulnerability, watch how weak
we present our poetic selves....

The Cry of The Hungry
In the land where the sun kisses the soil
Where abundance once sprang from honest toil
Now hunger prowls... like a restless beast
And famine mocks every hoped-for feast
The yam barns are empty... the granaries bare
The fields once golden... now stripped of care
Scarcity spreads... like harmattan dust
A bitter curse... on a broken trust
A goat tied too long... will chew the rope
But here even ropes... can’t kindle hope
The people cry... their stomachs hollow
Yet promises are all they’re forced to swallow

Independence Day
I.
The kick of equality
across a continent
and a dose of
What. The. Fuck
does not match
the Q&A quiz
I took at 18
when I could finally vote
"What can you not stand, Tammy?"
"Hypocrisy."
Yet -
here it is—mangy hair
matted to the scalp,
shoveling the ground
to bury bones of truth
every passing moment
Its lids barely hang
by the teeth of its skin
blocking its eyesight
to democracy
dragging all that weight
killing off the last...

The darkness is moving across the skies
Baal pulled me by the ear and screamed all of these bitches lied
Just look at the shit that I don't even have to fucking try
The fucking forgotten is returning and evil is back on the rise
All levels of government are broken becoming tokens
Openly showing their greed and you think that they're joking
It isn't just about keeping them poor but and then the poor gives us more
Politics is but one of our tools, no more than art fucking decor

I, I am nothing but a thing
Can you tell me how to get something out of nothing
Cause here I stand nothing but a thing
Created of nothing, existing for nothing
I oozed from the womb
Psych darkened and bent, force into my tomb
The world didn't want me so I demanded more room
Prenatal care ensured my mind set and doom
He needs this formula, cereal, and vaccinated shot

Tumbling Towers
I'm still watching you make a fool of yourself
Putting skin tone and looks to high on the fucking shelf
The empire is crumbling, I can't make this shit any clearer
The end has arrived, it can't get any nearer

I watched LGBTQIA+ march and I marched
When I could
A tight community loud enough to be understood
I watched the carriers march, demanding safer conditions
Nationwide, to show how bad it could be for Americans
I watch now as Hollywood uproots problems of compensation
The world rallies around the unity of their proclamation
And finally I March every time the nurses call
The group is always small
Two or three to represent all
Standing at the line again
While four hundred grease the cog
All complaining
It's not safe
The pay...
