I won't rest
In life I was silenced
never free by those individuals who didn't respect me
In death
I won't rest
Feelings I will express
Agitated
Retaliation Prosecution
Vindication Exoneration
I'm free
never free by those individuals who didn't respect me
In death
I won't rest
Feelings I will express
Agitated
Retaliation Prosecution
Vindication Exoneration
I'm free

Godspeed, Fellow Writer's
Propaganda got emotions running hot
Misinformation crowds an angry stage
Seems the internet can cause brain rot
Inciting the masses with constant rage
Help me understand how we got here
Political puppets are deciding our fate
It’s not a mere illusion it’s more severe
Wealthy families fighting over the gate
I’m sorry fellow poets/poetesses I had every intention of writing this poem. Maybe I did write it, maybe it’s not meant to be what I call finished.
My muse has other ideas in mind. She always gets her way, and she is...

THE TRAP OF CATEGORIZING
Our day-to-day existence
is continually being
bombarded with efforts
to categorize everything
from A to Z and beyond.
This is especially true
when it comes to we humans.
In our minds, we practice
analyst management:
We categorize by gender,
height, weight, looks, gay, straight,
performance, education, religion,
ethnicity, morality, values,
tastes, talent, etc., etc.
Yes, perhaps in some disciplines
such as science and medicine
category analyst is essential.
But for me, and speaking
only for me,...

The Thrill of Art and Vision
Cardboard
Got a number 5
All it needs is original art
A box head or 2
Minimalistic
Just enough for a laugh
Bukowski might give a nod
Drink a few beers
Tease the art world
When I stopped trying to sell paintings
Relevance spun a tale of glory
Me
Myself
Artist
Finally made it
No deposit
No return
Free at last …

melancholy breathe
insulted grief what do you have to do with me?
in the eternal scorn I hurt too
make some room for my sorrow
melancholy is on her knees
such a painful little sprite
sadness speaks of my loneliness
it is a sad tale
commingling in the doubt cast by the shadow of a man
I am sacrifice taking your hand
lending you some comfort in your distress
coffee and cigarettes
choking on my humiliation to be so needful
tiny redeemer is faith in you
salting my wounds are my confessions
a word at a time breaking...

MORNING SILENCE WHEN IT RISES
As I silently walk across the sand leaving behind my footprints as I walk, aimlessly through the mist of the morning rising over the horizon. I stop to admire this piece of insightful beauty here before my eyes, as I inhale and exhale the freshness of the sea breeze filling my lungs with each stroke of the winds. Yet as I stare into the vision of the dead silence, that the morning silent brings with it comes an awakening feeling. As I become so intoxicated by the very thing that hypnotizes, me the most as it transcends through the stairway and gateways of my thoughts. For it is this kind of...

Four Freedoms
Lo’ these many nights I lie awake in fear of losing all the freedoms I have known and consider my rights to exercise at will.
Am I only to experience these privileges within the quiet protection of mind and heart?
Systematically observing the erosion of critical thinking and civilized debate among mankind.
My mental anguish does not allow a resting heart rate when I bear witness to a silenced voice, excluded prayer, distended belly, or imprisoned soul.
The very idea of prior generations sacrificing their lives to establish, uphold and leave behind...

Cease and Desist
Who are they talking to that nobody can see?
A friend
A colleague
A tradesman
A lover
A sibling
A ghost of a former self ?
What are they listening to that no-one can hear?
A podcast
A song
A book
A fading echo of their inner voice?
They move amongst us
the wired, the tired, the nearly expired
the zombie walkers
the mindless runners
those boom box bastards on their e bikes.
Put the noise away....I beg you.
Listen to the songs...

Adjusting The Dial (collab with adagio)
The gossipers of the clouds
rain down dark's cacophony
Leaving me alone; covered in agony
neath the veil of twilight's shroud
Adjusting the dial to a new sound.
Listening to narcissistic gossipers pound
cued in amongst the symphony.
Agnostics and mannequins confound
as indecent as they are proud
Like a two-toed sloth of the epiphany
Inside the mockery of their frown
wound among the gossipers in infamy
A loneliness intensified by the clouds
buried in a salinity of dark infinity
A promise to search...

unexplored paths
there's something about backroads
backwoods
hidden trails
they call to the nomad in me
inspiring wanderlust
always chasing the latest mystery
you can only see so much on the main
you have to step off
meander down overgrown lanes
ducking through tangles
those low hanging branches
to crest the next rise
find a surprise
stumble upon one of nature's best kept secrets
she's full of them
blowing your mind & widening eyes
sometimes it's just a detour
not leading anywhere
but if I don't go
how will I...
