shy moon
the spring breeze
touring
the bathing moon,
laying
like silver
on darkness
waiting
patiently,
rise, bloom,
come settle
your differences,
floating
your reflection
in the night's
water,
silent
and mysterious,
tucking
herself away,
hiding again
until
her next
visit.

Personality Assessment
Creative, free spirited fellow
Amiable, mellow, deep thinking dude
Malleable mind imbued curiosity
People pleaser no scarcity of charm
Angers rarely, harms none with intent
Ill will often spent chastising himself
Great wealth is found in human connection
Never sated sensual predilection for intimate romance
Eschewing the expected dance instead steps in time to self composed beat
Recoils if micromanaged not due to conceit or pride
Stated simply, the master inside demands authenticity.

I find myself
collected
in dreams,
the night
washes
me over
the softness
of memories,
burning
oil lamps
dampen
the night,
and the moon
beckons
for pleasure,
the stars
are stuck
in mid-town,
lost
in their
travels,
and i
just turned
a street corner
thinking
i saw them,
but i am
back
in my dreams.

world in change
dream
if you must,
to feel safe
to feel free
in that
near future,
stretch out
the beginner's
past,
worked
with shells
of hand and bone,
which
may choose
and dig
the dreamer's
last grave.

I want to go some place where memories of me cease being a malignancy
Someplace where my voice is a litanous mutter where not even the sun can listen out for its interpretation
Where the heart is ruled by the eagle and the only signs that he is there are his wings lapping at the wind
Where the male elk weans in cone bearing swamp area as he awaits his herd
And where the fish bathe in icey ponds both ravenously and peacefully
Some place I can be free from this corpse of a body and...

If it Weren't For God
Well if it weren't for God
I'd still be in love..
and I'd still be a child
sweet as the rain,
bold and unafraid-
If it weren't for God
I would be alive
not a sin, nor a vice
just and freed, a Wild Heart,
the dance on summer's light
And if it weren't for God
My old friends would be here
my family would love me
the lovers of my youth would hold me
and we would live without fear
but it's because of God
that the lovers of my past
shook their heads
my father raged and he...
