Vale Visions
In moonlit veil, the forest weeps
A song too soft for mortal ears
Where shadows in the silence creep
And cradle all forgotten fears
The trees, like specters, bend and sway
Their boughs adorned with ghostly bloom
Each petal black as death’s own day
A fragile beauty cloaked in gloom
The air is thick with sorrow's breath
Yet strangely sweet, it fills the night
A dance between both life and death
Where darkness sighs in pale starlight
And in this place, both fair and fell
A single figure stands alone
Its face...
A song too soft for mortal ears
Where shadows in the silence creep
And cradle all forgotten fears
The trees, like specters, bend and sway
Their boughs adorned with ghostly bloom
Each petal black as death’s own day
A fragile beauty cloaked in gloom
The air is thick with sorrow's breath
Yet strangely sweet, it fills the night
A dance between both life and death

And in this place, both fair and fell

Outside Forces
I bide ‘neath trees, where none doth see
in shadows deep, thou com’st to me
No eyes to watch, no hands to grasp
yet still I reach, yet still I clasp
I am the breath that stirs the air
the weight that mak’st thy heart to scare
I move in silence, cold and sly
a thought, a thing thou canst not spy
Thou walk’st the path, yet I am near
within each sigh, within thy fear
Thy steps do tremble, feed my thirst
for in thy dread, I find my first
I am the chill that ‘neath thy skin
doth creep, doth crawl, and pull thee in ...
in shadows deep, thou com’st to me
No eyes to watch, no hands to grasp
yet still I reach, yet still I clasp
I am the breath that stirs the air
the weight that mak’st thy heart to scare
I move in silence, cold and sly

Big Top Steam
A Big East Top Steam Whistle
The steam whistle goes off to sleep
No more coal left now we haul parcels and people places and then some
Want the steam whistle to echo through the valley
All I hear is a ghost whispering to me when I’m awake
So Kov bought it for scrap tryin to spin a buck
All he hears walking along great steel is
Ghostly voices coming from a steam engine from time before
They say here comes the Scrap Man
The butcher will tear us apart for profit
He says to them as long as I’m...

Wooded Vales and Howling Winds
The wind is old in the wooded vales
its voice a rusted knife
it carves the air in fragile tones
where twilight sleeps with life
A shape has stirred; you see it not
but feel its ancient crawl
in breaths between the withered leaves
where shadows rise and fall
The trees are brittle silhouettes
they strain, they stoop, they stare
but it’s the wind, the wind alone
that presses through the air
Or is it? For something darker hums
a lull beneath its cry
A hunch, a sense, a phantom brush
of wings that...

it carves the air in fragile tones

Mornings like these
My heart longs for peace
Craving solitude with every beat
I felt the breeze cling to me
The fire burned
Warming my hands
The warm coffee on my tongue
Mornings like these
Where I hear the trees
I sometimes remember my dreams
Craving solitude with every beat
I felt the breeze cling to me
The fire burned
Warming my hands
The warm coffee on my tongue
Mornings like these
Where I hear the trees
I sometimes remember my dreams

Wine in the mountains
The bittersweet taste on my tongue
I continue on
Drinking my glass
As I bask
In the sunlight
The sun hits the mountain tips
A whole new kind of bliss
While my heart belongs to the sea
This is also quite pretty
I walked
And saw the evergreen trees
And aspen leaves
Yellow and green
What a dream
I continue on
Drinking my glass
As I bask
In the sunlight
The sun hits the mountain tips
A whole new kind of bliss
While my heart belongs to the sea
This is also quite pretty

And saw the evergreen trees

When It Moves
It is
One of thee worst
Fears
One can imagine
The Shock
The Terror
The Fear
When the Ground
Moves
Under our feet
Not stopping
Until everything
We've ever known
Has Gone
One of thee worst
Fears
One can imagine
The Shock
The Terror
The Fear
When the Ground
Moves
Under our feet
Not stopping
Until everything
We've ever known
Has Gone

Mountains
Mountain tops with tips of white
Starlight lights the nights
The trees touch the sky
The sounds of rivers flowing
A warm fire
It’s not my favorite
But I enjoy the view
The hot tub in the mountains
The birds I’ve only seen photos of
The moment of peace
With surprisingly no heat
Except from the hot tub water
All so serene
And green
The air is clean
My escape
Much different from the cape
I shall like to paint
The mountains tipped in white
Like God’s way of resting his hands on the mountains ...

meditate
accusations assault my dignity
inspires a melody in my soul that I know well
my pride steps aside and lets me be myself
sling the dirty expletives they have no power here
lose the arrogance and realize you may not be right
I sing a song of subtly
my sighs rise and with whispers, I make my stand
release tension with a smile
then you'll know anger is a hollow foundation
as it dissipates on the winds
free the rage that doesn't belong to you
don't pick it up from someone in a bad mood
and allow them to give you an unhappy...

i shall arise
Sometimes the worst thing that happens to you, the thing you think you
can’t survive… it’s the thing that makes you better than you used to
be.”—Jennifer Weiner, Fly Away Home
so many, many stars:
eyes of the skies that search the twilight night!
they know not scars or wars,
although the space between them seems so tight.
o splashing, dashing sea:
how many drops of water does it take
to set full free your glee,
when thrusting river, stream, and brook, and lake

THE POISON TREE
It's me again the story teller of words ✍️ that will speak upon, of that what I see and hear and believe what is front of me. For as I sit here looking out of the 🪟 but yet I still can't believe, how much this world has been changed by what is happening now. For sure we are living in a place that was once, a place that you could breathe in the spring aura of the trees of life. Yet as I search near and far from away, from the negativity and drama and chaos. I feel silent tear rolls down, my face only to be cupped in my hands like drops of acid rain, like poison ivy is to...

No Words Were Used Here or Maybe this Would be flawed thought
I once heard
we don't walk through a field
we stroll through the word
that's a lens folks, on
that sense of absurd
that's also a fence
on magic and mirth
that's lack of suspense
that's tragic and hurts
That's imagination curbed
that's an outlined box
sapping reason to talk
reason to reason
reason to even go for that walk
that is a living corpse chalked
That is straight rows of crop
as wild flowers are lost
that is power of thought
to wreck my world
One line said as boy meets girl ...
