Those beasts
Ate roots
And bark,
And seeds
And these
Were all
To meet
Our cosmic thoughts
And challenge
Inner needs.
A cactus
Here
And poultice
Rare
Raised
Consciousness
Like canyons.
Those rituals
Have lost
Their place
And live
Like soul
Abanyones.
