Whatev er is it I could have said that...........,(?)
Now-keep-in-mind that this
type of wisdom is no wisdom
is no wisdom at all is no wisdom
in and of it'self, is no wisdom at
all of any ilk, no wisdom no wis........
but,
there we are, spouting slogans of
solidarity and bless'ed that we have
no-thing, of any of any things in
accordance wit their final destination,
though hardly old enough to be ugly
enough to show what such elder'ness
secretly does to the (so'call'd) brilliance
of what the...

What Have We Done?
I’m dying of thirst but I cannot drink,
The waters are poisoned,
What have we done?
I’m famished but can’t eat,
The fruit is all spoiled,
Burned under the sun,
Oh what have we done?
The landscapes once green,
Are all now but a dream,
They have disappeared,
By the industrial machine.
The beautiful clear skies,
That once graced my eyes,
Are cold, dark and grey,
The blue has gone away.
The oceans aren’t clean,
All of its life now it seems,
Has left and vanished,
Never to...

A brave new world
The village had been built jigsaw pretty,
cottages were white washed and thatched,
they lined the lazy lanes and quiet roads,
centered by a pagan cross
daubed with yellow roses
and vibrant climbers.
I caught the cold air, the last
to leave the pub, it bolted shut
behind me. The light didn't bleed
onto the night, stars crowded
like snow flakes over my hands
between my fingers, wrapped
all around me, only me.
Such stumbling quiet can only be heard
by the drunk, I was inside its vacuum ...

How Dare You Question, uhhh, The Truth !
what if it wasn't
like it is?
what if it was more
like what it isn't?
how many buckets of brew
can we carry up the hill,
and not spill a drop?
how many br'others doe it take
to make a brotherhood>
or, for that matter, a neighbor-hood?
(and leave us not forget the sisters of the sisterhood).
well, motherhood is something else all together, and where to

Ice: God series
In the old world there were giants -
She conjured them in a day, with a breath constant and pure,
glaciers poured from Her loins, and stilled,
creatures died.
Seeds lay dormant
- carefully hidden from watching eyes,
at the correct temperature,
by She who knew.
Out She ran, called across the desert-white,
Her clear skin exposing charcoal veins,
She -
the size of a mouse, stared, top of Her great mountain - watching stars
cross the silent, alien Sky.
The power she'd...

Global Extinction
The fires you start will come back and burn you.
The idiots are in charge and they deny the truth.
Enjoy the sunshine whilst remaining blind to the drought.
We as a species deserve to be dying out, no doubt.
When the waters rise and the lives disappear,
You will turn around and ask to hear,
But it will be too late to make a change.
The end is nigh, if things stay the same.
The sun is nice, until it is not.
The sea’s will rise and the land it will go.
The bats have all died because it is getting too hot.
Welcome to...

Bring it Back
Your intrinsic blood
intersects with Turtle Island's Heart—
Earth's microcosmic image
mirroring our flowered Universe
Observe summer gnats glint
catching daylight's final hour—
cottonwood buoyant on air;
lush vegetation, consequent
for nested lairs rustling young
Return toward reticent retreats—
reserved evening presence;
arterial memories processing
planetary history, remember

Gaia's Revenge
Gaia uprising
Gaia warriors indeed
Never ever thought
I would hear
Extinction Rebellion
In my years
Global warming
Climate change
A hoax?
Maybe, but only the rich
Will be saved
To start again
A new world order
Of one-percenters
Bill and Melinda Gates
At the top
And what about
Mark Zuckerburg
Or the Amazon guy
Let them see
What money can't buy
Flowing rivers
Oceans clean
No rubbish ever seen
Let them see after
Killing off the little people ...

Dear Earth
Dear Earth,
Hi there, how are you? I thought I'd drop you a line, because some of the family are a bit worried about you. They're saying that you're not too happy about the way things are going at the moment, that we might be abusing your trust? I really hope that you don't think that this is the case, because we've put in so much hard work to get where we are!
I've got a few bullet points for you -
* We own the place! (we've got the paperwork, OT & NT etc) I'm sure you remember agreeing to this? If not, consult your legal team.
* It's up to you...

Rockhollow Series: May, come in
Weather: Heavy raincloud, spitting rain only late afternoon, very little breeze, humid.
Plant of the day: White bells
Animal sighting of the day: Chaffinch
Rockhollow Series: May, come in
I saw a chaffinch today, flit from a hazel,
above the bed of the stream
to a fallen branch on the other side -
In Britain that's nothing fresh
but for 'Hollow it is.
His red and blue markings were made brighter
beneath the weighted cloud, the lack of Sun

A signal makes its way from deep space to their monitoring antenna. The message says a ship is on the way with a cargo manifest of robotic construction crews and urban planners. Rochelle’s heart sinks. Also in the message is a plan for the rapid conversion from a communal economy to a free market one. And so a few years down the line a multigenerational ecosystem habitat arrives in orbit around their planet. Jim convenes a council meeting to discuss the implications of these new settlers for their community.
