A Grove By The Gate
Sigh of night's eternal breath
Shadowed leaves, whispered secrets play
A grove lies still enwreathed in living death
Its ancient boughs eclipsing moonlit sway
There, 'mid the glade, a well of blackened stone
Its depths unplumbed, its waters dark as grief
Hums a tune in voices not its own
A mournful hymn beneath the verdant thief
Yet by the grove a gate of lambent gold
Illumined bright against the umbral tide
Stands sentinel, its mysteries untold
A beacon’s gleam where wandering shades abide
The well and gate—two...

The Earth cries in accord with all of it’s dwellers
The Earth rebels far before we stand up

The wind blows in arid, dry and desolate lands.
The soil cries out for life, but there are only silent shadows.
Deserts expand, swallowing forests in agony.
At the end of the world, only cold dust remains.

Burning Blue
Burning Blue
Flames lick my palm
Dance upon flickering light
Sweat builds up on my brow
As I push the plough
Digging down to my essence
Pull back the shade
Hear barks in the distance
In the in between I observed
Glaciers melting
RIse the sea
Look at me
No look at me
Puddles forming
Below the corncob pipe
Magnify a fly
Or magnify a human
Temp rising
Dehydrate drink some water
Basin is drying up
In a desert of thirsty beings...

Made up a mix to get rid of them
Dish soap n apple vinegar
Sprayed on the trees and sidewalk
Now this is where the bigotry seeps in
Man calls 911 said some little black woman

Said he doesn’t know what hell she’s doing
Scares him though
Mom went to a council hearing

Producing to stay alive
Steel and concrete
We’re slowly destroying
The outer space of our bodies
Exhausted, emptied from experiences
Rotted, leper
Organisms, hollow
Devastated by disease
Conventionally called
Civilization
Smaller and smaller
Sparks of consciousness
Deeper and deeper
Hypnosis of are so-called existence
Industry, which is destroying us
Toxic hands are tearing the flesh
Bloodshot thoughts

before i reach town
before i
reach town,
i passed
large fields
of pastures,
the green
embraced
inside
fence lines,
and trees
lining the
roadside,
looking like
telephone
poles,
the string
weaved
in between
them, holding
everything
together,
and now,
the dirt
under my
feet becomes
asphalt,
the cows
and pastures
become
people and
buildings.
reach town,

Mother Earth
time escapes me as I walk through the earth
ancient things are here that shouldn't be disturbed
energies are given off and shadows are cast
trees very wise and old have seen many a thing die
communicating through their roots the trees talk
keeping record of all that man has wrought
sleeping giants of old
the earth cradles their souls
reclaiming bits of herself with the help of weeds
minerals and crystals are elements of our mother
precious metals that make the earth hum
extending their gifts to human
why consume when...

The Extinction...A New Beginning
Fires are blazing
Village in ruins
Razing the land
To build something new
Pollute the airwaves
Till nothing can breathe
Take all our garbage
And fill up the seas
Earth will be clean
Once were gone
The way we're going
It won't be long
Final turn
Has come to pass
The human race extinct at last
Time is escaping
The end overdue
Already too late
For fixing the wounds
Our unending rampage
Of earth absolute
Just human nature
To consume and pollute
Be a part of the construction ...
