Earth Heart
Beneath the world's great surface
far from the sky's embrace.
Two hearts embark on journey's path
in Earth's secret place.
Hand in hand, they venture deep,
where shadows softly fall.
Through subterranean labyrinths,
they boldly forge ahead.
With every turn a new delight by curiosity led.
A voyage to the center of the earth (or heart)
marks a tale both rare and fine.
Rising to the daylight,
hearts enriched and bright.
Memories of their journey spark
like a lantern in the night.
In Earth's deep...

Ain't Nobody coming
We all waiting.
For a sign. For a savior.
For the stars to align, for the right time,
for some kinda miracle to show up
and make sense of this mess we call life.
But what if nobody’s coming?
What if the hands you been reaching for
are the same ones you got folded in your lap?
See, we been conditioned to crave,
to feel like we missing something.
That next job, next love, next feeling,
like there’s a piece of the puzzle
forever slipping between our fingers.
But who told you that you weren’t already whole?
That the answer...
For a sign. For a savior.

The Girl Who Ran
Small hands, big eyes,
A little Black girl in a world too heavy for her bones.
A world that didn’t feel like hers,
A body that didn’t feel like home.
She moved through life like a shadow,
Silent, unseen,
Scared of the darkness that crept into her room at night,
That smelled like liquor and sweat and evil.
She had no words for what happened to her,
No voice to scream,
Only silence,
Only the sound of her breath disappearing into nothing.
Her mother was always working,
Always gone,
And when she was home,
Her hands were...

She Rose in Power
I swear I died one day.
Not in a grave, not in the flesh,
But something in me left.
Like my spirit packed its bags and said,
"I can't live here no more."
Three years before the world shut down,
I was already a ghost in my own life,
Trapped in a body that ain’t feel like mine.
Seventeen years deep with love that outgrew me.
Since 11th grade, I called it home—
But home ain’t supposed to suffocate you.
One morning, I woke up,
And the love that held me together?
It felt like chains.
So I let it go. Had to.
And...

She Was Never Alone
She was seven.
A little Black girl in a world too heavy for her small frame,
Too sharp for her soft hands,
Too cruel for a heart that only wanted love.
She didn’t belong...at least, that’s what it felt like.
Floating through her own life, a ghost in her own skin,
Scared. Lost. Disconnected.
The nights swallowed her whole,
Darkness pressed against her like an unwanted touch.
The world wasn’t safe.
The monsters weren’t just under the bed.
They had keys to the front door.
Spoke in whispers when Mama wasn’t home.

Stage Fright
This has been a long Sunday it started off with two toasts with cheese and the glucose rose to stratospheric, insulin is needed where the heck
Is the bloody needle, mlg if you please followed by a thundering heart and unwanted anxiety, I have tried to overcome for over 60 years
In my younger days, I tried to overcome my nerves by drinking whisky as a calmer which made me annoyed with anxiety-riddled myself
My wish was and still is to be a brave person, who is able to express himself with confidence But, no deal baby, I ended up alone in a room
It is not...

Hope
"When darkness fills your sky and
swallows all your hope,
I'll be your beacon in the night,
burning bright, so you'll never be alone.
Let me guide you to a place of safety,
beyond all your worries and
the darkness that threatens
to consume your hope.
I'll be your shelter, your sanctuary,
keeping you away from harm,
until your hope shines bright again. And
together, we'll build new hope,
in the light of a brighter day,
a hope so strong that even
the darkest of darkness cannot take away."

To begin a new cycle is hard not much happens around here, the street is the same as yesterday Rui, the English, is still working the till at the local supermarket, smiles, speaks upper-class English, And carries a secret, I would like to know about
I think he is from a wealthy family, but a scandal broke out, he made the housemaid pregnant, and in his circle, it was seen as the apogee of horror, or he was involved in financial fraud and had to leave, hide, and change his name to Rui

Get back to what's important
Let's get back to love honor and respect that is what's important, to clean up the mess of the truth of the nonsense and negativity.
THAT almost destroyed us mentally and emotionally and physically and spiritually. For it's necessary to truly understand, that we have the ability and power to eliminate, the deepness of the hurt and pain. THAT has been inflicted upon our soul, and tapping into our own mind. THOUGHTS but yet you still have to believe in your faith which can't no one take that away from you. For sure what is more important to you than putting love back in your life and world...

rainy day over this steepy hill slope
of a difficult terrain… you are carried

palanquin of united hands.. you
