The Ballad of Girls' Education and Liberation in India
In India, the land of diverse hues,
Where cultures and traditions fuse,
Girls are born with a label on their heads,
A label of backwardness and dread.
The patriarchy has been a long-standing curse,
A burden on girls, it's only getting worse,
Education, a right of every child,
Denied to girls, with reasons so wild.
Parents want to marry them off early,
Education, they say, won't benefit them truly,
Girls' dreams are suppressed under societal pressure,
Their potential wasted, what a disastrous measure!
The society...

worms thus transformed, fresh from death's shelf,
seeds of new prospects magnify.

sweet though the honey, not the sting,
to man or beast or honeybee;
the venom that comes ripe on wing
kills its dispenser who bites thee.

impales the thornbird's throbbing breast
upon its thorn, deep in the woods,
and trembles sweet with birdsong zest ...

Voodoo Dreams in Jackson Square
In Jackson Square I took a break,
From sharing stories for my project's sake.
Amidst the energy, I feel the past,
And walk through history voodoo bliss.
Recreating memories brings me Zen,
A sense of calm, a place to mend.
Within a month, this region will be complete,
And welcome all to step back in time with voodoo's sweet treat.
My gift, my magic, to bring the past alive,
A time machine for senses to thrive.
Come and feel the soul of New Orleans,
Where the past meets present in the city of voodoo dreams.

Random Thoughts In A Moment Of Meditation
Sunny and calm,this March day, i sit on a high rock with an eagle eye cast over the small town, that lies flat, down below,, and within my sight, drowned in a white noise of day-to-day life
At times, rises a deaf scream, a yell; a klaxon that tear the tiny town into pieces. like a chained harmony of tunes;when a random dissonance hits Beethoven's sensible ear, turning him to a beast !!!.And,when sllence is dead and the clam is peacefully flat laid, a high pitched shriek grabs my view, from which a series of chained sounds trigger a range of a nostalgic vocabulary dating...

We all of us inevitably worry
about something or other
that seemingly, we think
or even seriously we very easily
conclude, will rather adversely
inevitably affect our personal
life exclusively. Naturally, too,
sometimes, this assumption
is based on rational; logical;
financial or usually medical
deductions. Never the less,
the unpredictably resultant
but naturally only outcome
simply bearing in mind our
own, distinct personalities
is never literally the same.

little while.

you after only a little
bit of time.

journey and see
you through.

ever want is to see
you smile.
You are worth more
than diamonds or
even gold.
Choose wisely to
whom you decide
to behold.

my skin is a canvas
since i was born, i drew on it
i always had the utensils to create a masterpiece
since i was born, i knew that.
when i first went to school
they saw how different i was,
my mind and my body,
they didn’t like that
nor the fact that my skin
shone bright in all the colors of the rainbow.
the others may not have all the utensils i had
or didn’t know how to use them
now my pride began to crumble
because everything i liked -
everything i was - was disliked.
fast forward, new school,...
since i was born, i drew on it
