The Bookshop Poets
A whispering of my words
Amongst millions of others
Sat upon the bookshop shelves
Humbling, and profound
Sharing our words of poetry
With the ever silent audience
That never recipricated
Remaining as quiet as mice
I never saw the secrets
Contained within their covers
Whilst awaiting their 'dog-ears'
A multitude of printed words
The majority of which
I will likely never read
I wondered
What if all these words
From all the books
Within the confines
Of just this one bookshop

Declaration, there are no spears left
wind swept wings
soft steel wings will bare me
beyond all abandonment
extorted extinctions
from each margin the marginalized
will awaken fully as reindeer red
drips from skies
inked whale tears
fermented center
this world still seeks
no matter
how grotesque
our own
abhorrent
reflection
there is no more hiding
once in a mausoleum
they will find the first bone
of the last human
extinctions extorted
an exquisite execution
of life's
abandonment ...

Much Ado......
Just thinking about language
And colloquial variations
So....
Would a 'northern' version
Of newt
Be nowt?
There's no bout adoubt it
And how is no sense
The same as nonsense
Only different?
And can you ride tandem?
These questions, and more
Are much ado about nothing
Or
Much ado about nowt
Or should that therefore
Be newt?

I as an observer will place a stethoscope towards all skies . Sometimes bursting into budding roses. In these times passing when hearing will become listening. List Number Something: Words I Hate
1. Cremains. Please save such sporty word fusions for the likes of 'J Lo' or ;bronde' not what is leftover from the immolation of an adored one. Additionally, cremains sounds like macaroni. Wasn't there a brand
of macaroni called creamettes? No to "creamins". A thousand times no.
2. Moist. Yeah, I know. You hate it too. Let's form a Moist Haters club.
3. Classy: If you call yourself classy, you're not.
4. Spendy. Tacky way of saying expensive
5. Supper. Don't ask me why. Unless it's a light evening meal taking...
