The Loser`s Loser
somebody knew `em
all of them
oddly enough,
most live to talk about it
mine was Joel Rifkin
he was a nerdy dude,
intelligent, but dyslexic
and this hindered his success at school
he was slightly lame
so he walked funny
as you could imagine
he wasnt very popular with the girls
and got picked on a lot
kids can be so cruel
Joel killed 17 young women
most of them drug-addict prostitutes
he did some dismembering
to dispose of bodies
but really,
he was a garden variety strangler
and that hurts his
notoriety to this day
in this era of uber-sensationalism
through countless
media portals
Joel just doesnt
make the cut
he was`nt good looking like Ted Bundy
didn`t dress like a clown, a la Gacy
was`nt followed
by a throng of bra-less
chicks like Manson
and his M.O.
as bad as it was,
coudnt match the ultra-deviance
of a Gein or Dahmer
but he WAS arrested for
stealing a bottle of
Kikkoman Soy Sauce,
so i guess there`s That....
plus his name was part
of a Seinfeld bit...........
anyway,
as mundane as a serial killer he was,
he`s MY Serial Killer
I was in his sister`s
High School clique
we used to smoke doobers
at the Rifkin house
when their folks were away
Joel was a few years older than us
we`d pass his room
on the way to the den
it`s door was usually open
Joel would just be sitting there
examining various plants
he loved horticulture
"Don`t mind Joel..."
his sister would say....
"he doesnt talk too much...."

yeah... I got 2 killers in my family. (true story as well, sorry to say)
