Nothing Nice To Say

Madder than the snake that wed the garden hose
I bite my tongue till it bleeds
 
trained in art of ruining peoples day
I tried my damnedest not to let him ruin mine
 
but like any good artist he is creative
I remind myself, he is just a mass of neuroses and pathologies
 
nothing special at all
perhaps I'm bored and that's why he is annoying my mind
 
I cant get over the blighted pile of fecal matter in my sights
closing my eyes tightly hoping he will fade away
 
opening them slowly realizing he is still there
frowning becomes second nature
 
I start thinking he is chromosome-deficient
lacking the necessary building blocks of a human
 
maybe he is a test tube experiment gone horribly wrong
but allowed to live because of a loophole?
 
he is talking, I hear nothing except my brain keeps repeating
maladjusted douche bag over and over  
 
I try to think happy thoughts
I keep seeing him trampled by a heard of hippos  
 
I bet he is enema addicted  
everything about him screams anal retentive
 
the way he is carrying on
leads me to believe he has delusions of adequacy
 
I want to yell all these thoughts into his face
but I use all my will power not to
 
I am at work and he is my boss
fuck it one more day till Friday and a four day weekend
 
am I the only person who can honestly say they work for
an insufferable dullard who lacks taste and decency?
 
I check my phone, five minutes till my break
and five more minutes of this nauseating assault on the senses...
