Desert Roses
back in the desert heat
I love my desert, love it's brand of heat
love the feeling of the suns rays on my back
and the feeling of the sandy soil in my hands
I love being able to make the rose bushes bloom in spite of my deserts heat
I love my roses, their the best I've ever seen before
The desert brings out a roses true beauty
but even though all girls love receiving a rose
I like only a desert rose they last longer then the roses in the store
the other roses dont fight for the right to bloom
or love what could bring their very doom
I love flowers in general but when it comes to roses only the ones from the desert will ever do

got to Live in Tucson for a while as a child.
For a young boy its a wonderland of Reptiles
and Cacti...
