Hear, Society

Rules and regulations
anticipate realizations of society.
A young girl asks her mother,
mommy what do they want from me?
My perfect's never good enough
my thoughts remain unclear,
my strengths are simply pulverized
which drains me of my tears.
For suddenly, it hits me
my needs do not compare
the external reference
of society,
is what I'll need to hear.
Consistent questioning begins
as my actions drip with fear,

the fear is masked with confidence
which implies my end is near.
