Carnival Of Memories

I still remember the good old days.
When music plays and wind sways.
We would be happy in so many ways.

Carefree,freedom.
In your own home and room.
Love ,freedom.

To choose your husband,groom.
I remember when I was a kid and my grandma took me to a carnival.
Cotton candy,kebab.

And lots of toys for sale.
Happy music,my heart.
Feeling happy,swell.

There would be people all around.
Kids,adults,teenagers.
Who all came to celebrate.

Kids of all ages, who can't wait!
Some people came for the memories.
Some came for the food,items.

As the sun shines and brightens.
The music would continue each time.
Untill it's dark out,nighttime.

I recall eating cotton candy.
And not minding a single hing at all.
I recall being there with my grandma.

Who had her one big fall.
At the end we were exhausted, music took a toll.
We step on the wooden floor and open the door.

We would get some rest and sleep.
Because of the celebration, sleeping peacefully and deep.
The next year,you went again.

And you remember your old friend.
The night and stars is what I meant.
Music was too loud.

But the others were happy,proud.
I will always remember this day in my heart.
The day I went to a carnival with my grandma.

And if she was here now.
She would feel happy,proud.
Now I still go there like that day.

And I search ,explore.
There was this lady behind a stand.
Colorful flowercrowns displayed in all shaped and sizes.

And one caught my eye.
Big,red roses.
Its beauty you can't deny.

I will always hold this carnival in my heart.
Even if we are apart.
Maybe one day,we'll go again.

And I will also bring a friend.
Let's eat cotton candy and kebab.
Not lobster or crab.

This celebration is once an year.
And chases away all the anxiety and fear.
Let's go there,at night and watch the stars.

Eating tasty chocolate bars.
The memory will always stay.
Now I have to finish this and go away.

I hope one day we visit it together.
Because trust me,you'll remember this forever.
Sweet dreams,goodnight.

Sleeping soundly with no fright.
