Sweat, humidity and frowns
That damn sun
Relentless
Long evenings
Moon lit calls
Walking with you
Sweet summer
Margaritas by the seaside
Lust in the air
No cares
Too hot
Too much rain
Too much traffic
Too much
It goes fast
Somewhere in August
Knowing this will end soon
Labor Day
Last call
We love summer

Complaints
Melancholy has a way
Autumn on the horizon
Damn pumpkin everything

Fitting right ?
Hit me today on one of the most beautiful days of summer she'll be leaving at midnight.
Next couple of weeks will still be warm but that cover of darkness earlier haunts me ..
Might actually go south this winter for awhile If I can. I actually like the cold but it goes on too damn long. You know.

I like all the realism in this. Few things in life are all good, but that doesn't mean they're not good. And yeah, pumpkin spice, waiting in the wings. I've read that pumpkin spice is the universal favorite scent for men. I had a male friend disagree. He said brisket is better.

I've got nothing against pumpkin especially prone to pumpkin pie. But pumpkin beer is truly offensive as pumpkin lattes more than once a month not to mention the 10,000 calories yo...

You must be on the same latitude as me then, PS, cos I too am facing Autumn tomorrow. However... we are still on BST (British Summer Time) here in the UK until the end of October & I made a new rule about Summer recently... that it's never truly over until the clocks go back an hour then... to GMT. 🌞

To be honest dude, we have never had this drink. Honestly we only drink with who we're with and we have to stick with the same drink, no switching crap up. This weather that falls between summer and winter is perfect to us. We wish that we could find this temp year round, freaking perfect. Tight write dude

I wear a lot of black and dark Grey so fall/winter is the time for that exquisite combo or just all black. But I wear a black t-shirt in summer almost everyday but sometimes it's a real test in 90 plus and high humidity. Every so often I'll wear a bright cobalt blue t shirt and I'll announce to my wife. " Look,I'm wearing a color " ...

I think I'm part Irish, though I'm told my ancestors were from Romania and Ukraine.

"Damn pumpkin everything" had me laughing out loud. I get that there's this whole pumpkin spice obsession movement but I'm not a card holding member myself. I have one slice of mom's homemade pumpkin in November & that's it. Gonna miss the sunshine...until next summer.

The pumpkin advertising starts late in summer long before you'd consider that latte. Advertising knows it's a gold mine and they want you thinking pumpkin and cooler weather when it's still 95 and humid as fuck..

A very lovely farewell! Autumn is my favourite for the beauty and melancholy. If you like spring you clearly don't live where I do!
I was the pumpkin pie baker in my family since about age 10 & always took great pride in it. So I took it as a personal insult when everything started having pumpkin spice in it! 🤣 I'm over it now... my pie still beats the heck out of all the other variants.

There is something special at the end of the season, when we know cooler days are coming and the hot days are done. I liked this, I liked the bit of nostalgia, looking forward to come what comes next.
