vanish
within my soul there is a sanctuary
a place I made for you and I
an eternal pool for just us
I'm careful not to leave a ripple
content just to sit with you
the trees are singing to us
a mesmerizing belonging
in the dark, I made a vow to you
I won't disturb you reverie
our dreams and visions rise from us
creating beings of fantasy
manifesting as fate
I distract you with my beautifully veiled women
you look into my soulful eyes and realize I'm just a child
who deeply longs for your touch
somewhere fate dictates
the enigma women come in one by one
they serve you olives and dates
they don't utter a word
but they understand your needs
addressing them moment by moment
I can see you are captivated
my heart hurts this isn't the first time
dreaming of womanhood conjured your fancies
women with a simple inflection
or turn of the head
the way her hips sway mesmerize
our sanctuary reminds me I dream for you the best the world offers
so like a mirage disappear
a place I made for you and I
an eternal pool for just us
I'm careful not to leave a ripple
content just to sit with you
the trees are singing to us
a mesmerizing belonging
in the dark, I made a vow to you
