Love the soft pastel colors. "Her vortex revealed" is intriguing. I really like both the painting and the poem.

Wrote this in 2014 and am wondering why I can’t write like this now ?  Did I use it all up back then ?

First we thought of the return of the phoenix, but then we thought of pterodactyls and erupting volcanoes hours before that big ball of fire struck earth. Tight work with the pic and the piece dude

Okay, here goes my critique:

So, pardon me for saying this, PS
I was a bit thrown off.

The painting and poem are both awesome.

Your watercolor is ethereal and yes, it’s summer-like; I can see her beautiful soul and imagine you walking hand in hand with her. But as I read your poem I kept glancing up at the painting expecting there to be some red in there. I always equate vixen with the color red.

Just my take, I certainly don’t mean to diminish either piece.

That's a fascinating comment Mary and I agree with you on the red for vixen.  Red and black as well.  I searched my paintings and tried to blend the color's of her personality. They certainly weren't my usual colors.
Actually in the dark she used to like a skimpy fuscia negligee that gave me rise from her ample endowments... Alas though I chose different ground.  Stay tuned, I might surprise you another day ..

You need to market your artwork and sell it--people would definitely buy it!

I have sold my art over the years but not lately.  Making Art is easy and selling it is difficult.  Sometimes selling art takes all the fun out of making it.  I give it away sometimes as presents.  It becomes my currency...

So many of us are vixens or we’d like to think we are. As I read your writing, I pictured myself. I noticed a raven and a semi colon in your painting. The raven to me symbolizes rebirth and the semi colon is a new chapter.  Wonderful piece! 💜💜
