Better Days

For today
     the sun has shone
and told me
     how there are others
                       to behold, so
     no hang ups on you
                       anymore
     no feelings of desperation
for anyone, anymore
So go
         get on
                  with my self
Be it
        all, with my self
No hangings on
No swan song

I can leave it
in a bucket
for you to find
     on your own
For today
     the sun has shone
and told me
     how there are other
     possibilities to be known
Not living for one spirit
           anymore
No empty soul waiting
     for you
                 anymore.
