Doctor Jeckyle
Once fully transmogrified
Into Hyde
Ventured into wedlock
(so i heard, or perhaps imagined)
And within a space
Of just two years
Mrs Hyde
Gave birth to a healthy baby girl
They, Mister, and Mrs Hyde
Named her Formalde
And despite of
And maybe because of
Formalde's interest in pickled things
Caused her to develop a problem
With a particularly pungent wind
Her persona was as grey
As the clothes she wore
She developed an interest
In pickling food
But later preserving things
She met her husband to be
Somewhere in Italy
He thought of her prettily
Later, they wed
And whilst within their wedding bed
She insisted
And persisted
She remain as Miss Hyde
Upon their return
She returned to her interest
And starting pickling things
No longer alive
Including eventually
Her husband
Who she poisoned
With a gherkin, and a pickled egg
His death certificate read
"Death by misadventure"
Signed by a certain Doctor Jeckle
Although it was obvious to me
That he had been murdered by
Miss Formalde Hyde!
