Ive always somehow managed being on the outside, though a good fit is still nice. Great poetry and painting. I especially like all the vertical implications with box head standing there in a horizontally striped shirt, fucking priceless!

Strangely enough the outside often felt safe to me.  Sometimes inside too but that was more sexual ...

The boxheads started out as a lark.  It's been a wild ride.  People seem to enjoy them so I draw or paint them occasionally.  They are fun freaks!

Collages are fun too.  Fiddly work.  I'm not really a precision guy but the medium requires patience.  You'll probably see more ..

It is much easier to be authentic from the outside looking in, I too have always felt more comfortable there.

Why does it seem like creatives are usually loners? Art is your territory, for sure!

I don't know.  Maybe it's because we prefer our own company more than that of others and we get more done.

I've always felt my art stuff is better than my writing so yes !!

Yes, the I can't fit line, how many of us feel that way ?

Outsider Art is a good fit for me.
I try to follow rules but in the end I'm better at giving them.  Misfit if you will.
