Wanderings

touching the aether I dare disturb
restless souls clamor for my attention
I push past them

entering the Onyx kingdom
I come into the scarlet corridor
beseeching his presence

beholden a vision
quieted in my mind
lest I hear the infernal noise
shrieking in the background
are the lowly afflicting damage

I rise in the pitch and speak
surrounded on the left and the right
I approach the throne
I am his own daughter

entertaining darkness I chant
as it is above, so it is below
may I approach

seeking approval I leave a sacrifice on the altar
rising as sweet incense
it is accepted

the shadows loom and grow large
a great darkness presses in on me
I feel him now
he is inside of me

too long in the mortal world
I become afraid
proper respect should be shown
I underdress and lay myself prone

taking his time with me he utters
hush now woman
still your soul
he takes account of my wanderings
teaching me in the wild about all things

in his domain I am always
gather knowledge, proving my royalty
I come to court begrudgingly
I love nature
he is my chaos
and I adore him

someday I will be adorned with a  crown
anointed and set apart I will ascend
to be coveted by him

until my soul's life ends
