TELLING SELF THE TRUTH
In Hamlet, Shakespeare wrote
this immortal line:
"To thine own self be true."
How many times have I,
you, and others secretly
wondered, had a desire, or
almost dared to experiment,
try, or engage in an enticing
erotic and sexual act?
We have been quick to
criticize, condemn, and argue
about how wrong a person is
for engaging in certain acts
or using specific language.
Why are we, some of us, afraid
to tell ourselves the truth?
Let's dare and stop this practice;
today let's claim the real self
and start telling self the truth.
Let's dare to take a step of liberation.
Meet me at the Kissing Place
and we'll share our hidden desires.
OKAY?
