The dance

The blade ripped along the seam of my dress, approaching my skin but never penetrating

My attire was now reduced to a garter belt and stockings

Guests’ gasps were silenced with lavish refills

Your glance summoned and the knife was traded for a rose

I freed the remains of the slashed garment binding my black spike heels

My flowing long hair was insufficient to cover the nudity

Delicate music commenced and the room accompanied us in dance after our first twirl

You whispered, “I always take what I want”
