The Clock and The Ferryman

What price will i pay
As the Ferryman rows

He accepts my coin
my purse feels light

i am apportioned
my number of minutes

How did i use them
i won’t be spared

The greatest equalizer
Row Ferryman, row

The clock advances
The ticking seems louder

Am i afraid?
Only, for whom i’ve offended
