Just a little murderous Halloween tidbit. Idea was inspired by a lovely but short lived friendship with a poet of a similar sick twisted and menacing mind... Mwahahahaha!!

I get it, that not many have the proclivity or the propensity to enjoy the macabre or a bit of horror, so I expect that this piece won't be a barn burner; so it's killer (Har Har) uplifting and supportive comments like yours that make me not as worried or concerned with that fact.

Dear BV,
“Step into my parlor”, said my spider to the fly.
Spooky, sexy and down right splendid. I do enjoy a bit of a macabre storyline. Tis’ the season after all. Great formatting. Lends itself to the feel of the story and the holiday.
If I wasn’t so lazy I’d write a Halloween poem. But I exhausted myself just writing that thought. Im glad you wrote though. Much easier to read and enjoy. H🌷

To find a bit of pleasure in the dark and macabre is a bit of human nature, I hope. I tend to bask here quit a bit, I just don't believe that I write it well... So like you, I'm usually patroning others to get a little sample... Lol. I'm thrilled you found something within this dark shared storyline that allowed the Halloween spirit to be evoked! Your thoughts and perspectives are always such a wonderful place to sit and soak it all in for awhile... it means a lot to me that you take the time you do..
Hope you are well and frolicking within that beautiful fall landscape.... We finally had our first cold snap this morning and it was slightly cool all day today and it's supposedly going to get down below 50 tonight which is like paradise, considering... Haha!! Yippee!! ❄

Yeah, so many that come and make a mark and then poof!... Disappear! It's the nature of the beast but it's still sad to realize that's it!! I still have a hard time reconciling it... Probably always will, being overly sensitive.. ;p

Susan, this poem is seen through a prism darkly. You write the horror without flinching and in a way that David Lynch would admire. I found it fascinating how you explored the motives of the woman. She wants to be with her man for eternity but finds a dark way of ensuring that. You really got into the heart of this woman with her dark intent laid bare for the reader. There is a passion in this murderess for her mission to preserve forever their love. Fascinating premise. You are the queen of many genres and your work is intriguing through the myriad ways of expression you explore.

This is one powerful piece u ah wrote upon my a birthday a couple of days ago. "A Muderous Memoir"! That first stanza is such the eye catcher. Like an ah movie upcoming attraction advertised upon T.V. as an ah commercial, it elevated these eyes ah sights of ah wanting to ah see more of this ah gothic ah poetry. Also, I took those last three to the head so ah greatly, that I switched the stanzas around rereading it again and again and heard the same exact thing. 👁️💋👅🌈🍇🥝🍐🍑🍺🍹🍻🤍🤎👄👍🤛🤜🛳️🎶

Something wicked this way comes.... I often wonder why and see the unfairness but stay silent. It's truly amazing how much open chutzpah some folks have even though it's beyond the pale... Lol.. Lol guess that's one of the reasons why I write. To flush my system and alleviate my anger a little...
