Image for the poem Sanctity

Sanctity

There was something sacred
about the sex we had
our bodies  anointed with sweat
when you over me
skin on skin
we were two beautiful beings
sculpting love
with our limbs
Your body moving upon mine
like waves crashing against the land
Your breaths' whispers
like songs of yearning
echoing in conch shells
to return to the sea. . . untamed and wild
Ripples of ecstasy ebbing and flowing
moving high and low
as we went devouring each other
the sweetness  of our lips and mouth
tasted salt
salt - reminiscent of the sea
together You and Me
constructing... deconstructing
rising and falling
the ever flow
Of love from me to you
from you to me
while we made love
just like the sea
...by the sea
