Dusting off golden dusts
so I said
it's over and I'm done
no more lamentations
grief has flooded out
scalded with sorrowful tears
I will hold up my head
I said
I will rejoice
in the presence of my being
here, listening to the rain
before dawn lights up
my world
I keep on saying
find pleasure in life lived
grateful for each day
I will wake up
fresh as pressed lime
I will move away
from regrets
move away from fears and tears
forget the golden dusts
on mountain sides
faintly
memories
like fingernails scratching on window panes
I hear my voice
chanting
Wake up wake up
in autumn evenings
it's over and I'm done
no more lamentations
grief has flooded out
scalded with sorrowful tears
I will hold up my head
I said
I will rejoice
in the presence of my being
here, listening to the rain
before dawn lights up
my world
I keep on saying
find pleasure in life lived
grateful for each day
I will wake up
fresh as pressed lime
I will move away
from regrets
move away from fears and tears
forget the golden dusts
on mountain sides
faintly
memories
like fingernails scratching on window panes
I hear my voice
chanting
Wake up wake up
in autumn evenings
