be grateful

this workhouse
feels more
like slavery
profit margins

than peasants
suck it up

your choice
food to eat
or heat
it don't
matter

get it all

hello dearest poet
I do my best to be grateful knowing I could have it worse
in a large part I am dependent on other people in one way or another
and personalities get in conflict that's when I have to remember it the most
my life could be worse...

Real words of wisdom and understanding that we have to be thankful for what we got for never take nothing for granted cause you can have nothing just be awaken to fact you can lose it all 🤔👊🤨

A topical and accurate write, which had me nodding along. Too bad that our current government consists of rich toffs who have NO idea what it's like to be normal, to not be able to afford your usual weekly shop, or to put the heating on when required.

I agree with the sentiment so clearly expressed in this poem. My psychic life is a battleground but I know that I could have it much worse, it's just a matter of remembering it as often as possible and celebrating what I have. Thanks for the timely reminder!
