Mercury in your veins, in your head...
"trying to describe this book is like a thermometer breaking and you are trying to collect the mercury" Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon.
My blood bleeds silver.
And as you bite me....
Your intoxication grows.
The poison is maddening...
But you can feel me
Something crazy.
Taking over your mind.
Like you took mine.
My blood bleeds silver.
And as you bite me....
Your intoxication grows.
The poison is maddening...
But you can feel me
Something crazy.
Taking over your mind.
Like you took mine.

It is isn't it. It may be crazy but you just cannot help touching it, it's so beautiful but she seeps into your soul. Madness combining with insanity but it paints lust in your body. You try to hold her tighter, strangling her. And you find yourself wanting to touch her over and over again until perhaps it kills her. And you die too mad as a hatter...

Sweet K,
You find the passion that is matchless and intense in your words.

Hey there KS, so much passion it cannot be contained and it comes in many ways... And in the intensity of words. Definitely be careful with matches around me because there are already so many fires being started. ;) I promise I will try to put them out and leave some essence to burn next time... With my passion.

So much art. I love art, want to take me to an art museum? You know what Museums are good for right? Always something to see. Always wanting to make something to see. Maybe a private tour... Painting the art of sex in fluid movements.

Haha, I am not saying anything about that connection.
It's a great quote... because reading 'this' book is just like that.
I don't know why they always go crazy. Perhaps I do have mercury for blood. ;)
And when I take their temperature, they are always burning up.
I feel like I have a medical degree now, but I might only kill my patients because they are always getting ...

Hi Kristina:)
Yes - like a double edged sword of lust. I'm totally digging this.
Mercury is one of those elements I find fascinating and beautiful.
Liquid metal baby!!!

Oh yes! You know what I am talking about. ;) That double edged sword can penetrate so deep, and whichever side you end up on can really determine if it's surgical, death by a thousand cuts, or ... * nevermind * you get the point. :p
Damn right, Liquid metal baby!!! It's beautiful but drives you crazy. lol

We thought of the title first, we thought "infectious" or "infection." The act of you biting us infects us like a vampire or werewolf. But you're also infected by our infection and we drag each other into love's darkened need. Tight

Damn ME, you really are me today. Because normally I would have thought of the vampire (and werewolf) angle as the very thing in my mind, but for some reason I didn't here. Hmmmm... I suppose I must really need some blood. And I am so glad you had some for me. I love how you describe the infection. The Darkness is infectious - it has a way of pulling you in. Infects you with passionate madness. And if you don't kill each other then it can be brilliant. ;) A vampire-werewolf hybrid in the making...

Very good. Very nice.
I like reading it again and again...
"... Something crazy...Taking over your mind...Like you took mine."
Well, it is not crazy, it is only just intricate.

Hey there Marks, I love that you liked reading it again and again. That makes me really happy that you felt it worthy of contemplation. :) Yes, it can be very complicated and intricate... It can be a work of art or something far more destructive, or something in between... But nothing is ever black and white is it?

And yes, sometimes you have to turn the tables :p But everybody is a bit crazy in a relationship I suppose. lol There is enough crazy to go around. (at least in mine)

K, Enjoyed this piece (not unusual...). Your work is always inventive, honest and has an appeal across all readers. (A big + for reading Pynchon! He's not my kind of guy, but is a poster boy for post modern fiction. :-)

Damnit Ted, you better enjoy it. lol I mean I love that you enjoyed it. X Inventive, honest, and has appeal - I really love that, Thank you! Always honest, perhaps too much so for American culture. :p I feel like I belong in a more direct culture where my lack of filter sometimes might make me seem a little less strange. lol Anyway, I never intended to share my writing so it means a lot to me that you and others seem to get something from it.

K,
U know I'm "your biggest fan"! I don't think you need "filtering"...I think many others may. :-) If you ever need a place where a lack of filtration is admired, my condo in Thailand is available! (I've done some of my "best" (?) writing there. Till whenever/forever, don't change a thing! (Please).

Yes, just yes. In madness we will dance until the sun begins to dim and the world grows cold. Yet the galaxy is too small to hold our insanity and we will find new stars on which to dance for all eternity.

Wow, that is so beautiful. I could see it in my mind and I am so happy you take me on this dance with you. And we better keep dancing because there is so much more of the galaxy to explore and beyond. And our insanity is what allows us to find those new stars which are left unexplored. Let's explore them all.
And you made me think of this song.

My first thought was Sting's "Hounds Of Winter", but closer inspection suggests you and Sting went in different directions. So then I thought of David Bowie's. "Cat People" (Putting Out Fire"

Damn, I love that. Thank you so much for sharing with me, I love getting into somebodies thoughts and hearing what they think about it. Both amazing songs. I can see both of them in this but yes Cat People definitely more so. "Putting out the fire gasoline". Sometimes we crave those volatile but super passionate relationships. And if it doesn't kill you then perhaps you will have lived. But in the end they can be very destructive.

Well damn! I know you are trying to shut me up now. I will not go quietly, never quietly, but damnit it's working. I told you not to drink the mercury while I was feeding it to you. But I am so happy to have you here in my insanity now. I need company... especially company that thinks I am a delight. I love to delight, and this comment. Thank you!

Oh yes! how we can drive each other crazy in so many ways. ;) The emotions and feelings intensifying to that dangerous level, building up like a poison and causing madness. Until perhaps it reaches that point where you will always feel it or where you can't take it any more. But those powerful feelings have a way of becoming something that is needed, that intensity. I am so happy you were intrigued, there are definitely many aspects and depths; there usually are. ;)
