CONFUSED NATURE
Spring has sprung
It all looks so fresh
The wind is familiar
The rain is a friend
You find the genius
In young people
And feed it
Like sweet peas
Their flowering
Draws the pollinators
This is how to defeat
Colonizers
I am so confused
Nature on the brain
So vivid and lush
Humanity by turns disappoints
How can I protect you
When you are trying to kill me
The mother says to us
Again and again
And so we tend
Our gardens like
People and our people
Like flowering rebellion
It all looks so fresh
The wind is familiar
The rain is a friend
You find the genius
In young people
And feed it
Like sweet peas
Their flowering
Draws the pollinators
This is how to defeat
Colonizers
I am so confused
Nature on the brain
So vivid and lush
Humanity by turns disappoints
How can I protect you
When you are trying to kill me
The mother says to us
Again and again
And so we tend
Our gardens like
People and our people
Like flowering rebellion
