Raphium Series the Queen

death calls me to her court
I enter with shackles of oppression
plagued and haunted
past life transgressions
surely, it must be true to be afflicted thusly

I push at the boundaries of darkness
with a mighty fist they strike me a blow
glowering at midnight I am no coward
nigh anger towers, a giant
I rise with my soul to defy
I will make it to my destiny

sigh I am nothing in the grander scheme of things

or am I your Queen?

delusions of grandeur, perhaps

within a sea of faces who am I to challenge?

however challenge I do

would you accept my cowering?

you came for a war
behind the scenes my demons are conjuring
I insult even the heavens with my blasphemy
there will be no peace from me
