Blue, I’m glad it made you giggle. We lost power for a bit during a storm, needless to say, it’s a little hard to do some chores without electricity. Then again I know you’ve experienced hurricanes.

Love your humor, Wally, and where your mind takes you when washing dishes. I have discovered that the everyday, seemingly mundane chores have always provided an opportunity for thoughtful discourse between myself and the world.

Thank you Ahavati. I find myself composing poems or having ideas for a poem at odd times. If you’re familiar with the Walk Hard movie, my wife tells me to stop composing poems while we’re having conversations when I start rhyming out of nowhere.

Take 1 was so dark that I whacked my funny bone on the counter looking for the poem. I didn't think you could top that, but I stand corrected. You've become a master of the visual poem while my back was turned.
