The universe within a bouquet of flowers, bright stars but beguiling scents of lavender, primrose, and jasmine. The passage of eons but the trembling of a hummingbird's wings as time stands still and stops to smell the flowers. Peace sorceress.  

They fill me with such pleasure and soothe my entire being. I love everything about flowers– the smell, growing them, buying them, pruning them, arranging them, drying them, making potpourri, wearing them in my hair... and on and on...
They're sprinkled throughout my poetry and I often refer to myself as a rose... because technically, I am.... lol....

This piece popped out and wrote itself.... I went to Trader Joe's and they have all these amazing seasonal flower arrangements being sold right at the front door (smart marketing!) and the words were just there, waiting to be plucked from the mist ether of inspiration....

Anyway... I am a sucker for flowers... Always have been.... I often write about them, they're kind of my 'security blanket' of topics... lol...
