Walk the Line

Like a neon sign, his challenge flashes, provoking naughty images
to play in my head.
I'm helpless to cease the illumining glare
His words taunting me
They dare me to respond
How?
Catastrophe lurks at every turn
Feigning ignorance isn't a luxury
To run away feels cowardly
Surrender- my only alternative
And so, as I slowly approach him, a telltale smile
graces his lips.
He knows he has won!
A shiver runs down my spine, as I hesitantly proclaim.
"You can fuck me now!"
