Reason Who We Meet

there's a reason why
we go thru the struggles we do
souls we meet in our darkness
also ones we meet who give us light

friends that come into our hearts
some are meant to hold us
tender touch that hugs your soul
they are who we need to keep us strong

not all stay around
come and are gone with a sunset
only meant to cross our paths
yet bring a remembering smile

others bring sorrow to our souls
heartless and uncaring of tears they cause
even though they break us down
they make us see hidden strength within us

those who luv us regardless of flaws
for who we are and for what we might not be
look beyond flaws we might have
they're meant to stay for a life time
