I’ve been waiting for you to upload this so I could add it to my Reading List! Quite apart from the Pride connection, it’s an expression of simple and honest love that’s completely unpretentious and all the more powerful for that.

My stomach did this little lurch thing when I read this. It just felt all too close to home.
Kudos to you for stepping up though. Comes with a whole new journey of its own, but at least it’s a journey you can take together.

This resonates strongly with me at the moment. If only they could realise the depth of love we have for them, which could never, ever be changed. If only that could be enough.
