You can still visit... nothing is impossible.... beach wheelchair rentals are available at many locations... I know that it's certainly a possibility in Florida!..... Some are so cool look like dune buggies.. lol.... I empathize about the diving.... I have never been brave enough to go scuba diving in the ocean... I have taken a couple classes but never became certified and I've only spent time at the bottom of a pool learning how to regulate breathing.... I'm glad you enjoyed reading.... it was off the cuff today, thinking about my teenage years and early twenties... the beach being as close as it, isn't a novelty.... and those years I spent a TON of time there...

Damn, that's incredibly sad 😔... Hopefully you take advantage now! I like to sit under an umbrella at the beach with my feet in the sand, people watching as the wind blows. It's sooo relaxing. I don't partake of the sun, much anymore. The water is refreshing only because of the heat... The beaches here on the gulf are kinda shitty vs the coastline. There's a huge difference that way, but for convenience Treasure Island / Madeira Beach are just a bridge away and they're really decent quality....

I love the beach when it's not crowded with tourists and you can really appreciate the natural surroundings.... My absolute favorite time, is off season....I'm lucky to be able to explore that opportunity as often as possible 🙆🏻‍♀️, living here, in Florida.... that's the best.

Dear BV,

You brought me to church on this one. There is an out of body experience whenever I get the chance to visit the ocean and sit on a beach that is like nothing else. Your poem reminds me of that feeling where the ocean just sucks all the crud out of my soul and I can tolerate life for a few minutes. You’ve masterfully written the sights and sounds of a day at the beach and I sure do appreciate it. Really beautiful write. H🌷

I have a flat near the beach, but I hardly go there anymore except on a visit, since I now live in the village. I used to watch sunsets then. I miss the sea breeze and the crash of the incessant waves. Thats a talented write, Blue, it brought back memories. Good read:)

"soothed aches to abate  
each and every breath" I always found the sound of waves crashing soothing and mesmerizing. One can spend hours just watching them, as they endlessly and repeatedly come in and out.
