Re: Re. forgiveness.
Good morning my dearest FeNyX,
I'm happy to see you and I very much appreciate your time in reading and leaving your thoughtful sentiments upon my page. To apologize- isn't my strong suit, so I thought I'd see if I could craft a doozy.... I am glad you felt a tug...
I so love having you visit 🙏 Thank you ☺
Much love and returned blessings ✨

My favorite line is "I am on my knees" because my mind is in the gutter. Keep on writing. To error is human, to forgive is divine by William Shakespeare.

Good morning, RiAN :)
You are positively correct when you say broken trust can become something of a potential chronic pan issue... Yep, It's very very tough to come back from. There's times, you shouldn't, in all honesty, depending on circumstances. This little senryś is /was my attempt at a doozy of an apology because I sometimes find it extremely difficult to simply say I'm sorry or to even recognize that I should.
It's over the top because I wanted to drive home the point of seriousness. I thank you so much for reading and adding your thoughts to my page...
I appreciate you!
Much love,

Can take years to earn, but only one moment to lose.
The pain is heavy in this piece. Tough to get trust back.

Good morning Leo,
I 100% agree with you.
Broken trust is exorbitantly difficult to restore.
Overcoming that sense of betrayal is never easy.
I looked at this from both sides of a narrative.
To me, it's easier (by far) to dwell in anger and let it constantly percolate due to pride or stubbornness, etc... It's much harder to out stretch ones hands of forgiveness. That's for sure. Same goes for whoever is begging forgiveness. It's extremely difficult to do - owning up to one's mistakes. Everyone is human, but even the very best people can be dicks sometimes. Does that mean they should be immediately and forever excommunicated? All good questions... These 17 syllables carry a plethora of impact, at leat in my head.... hahaha
Ty for sharing your amazing thoughts and insights.
I'm always so humbly grateful for your time

Short poem creating the when, why, and who questions. I can't imagine this is real or you, but if it is I'm sure forgiveness and understanding will be extended to amazing. Need a shoulder? Offering mine. Hugs, kisses, and peace, Oral

Your shoulder is *noted.. (and welcomed) You're correct, too. This senryś is simply a senryś. I'm exploring the idea of forgiveness... asking for and receiving. Much more of it is desperately needed in the world yet I myself find it incredibly difficult to ask for or to offer it, in earnest. I work daily on improving that....Thank you for reading and your comments, my dearest Oral.

Yes, forgiveness is a challenge. The challenge is to be able to realize that when we forgive an automatic forgetting doesn't occur. No. We have to reframe it and daily be self-thankful for the small victory. Keep smiling lovely Blue. Hugs, kisses, and peace. Oral

Re: Re. forgiveness.
Ty, bk.. very much for your thoughtfulness.
I wholeheartedly agree with you.
To be able to find forgiveness is true soul healing.
Yeah, it's not easy..to ask for or offer...
Nothing that is so meaningful in worth, ever is. Practicing a capacity for forgiveness, is an enlightenment of the biggest sort. imo. I strive to be able to say that I can both learn to be forgiven and find inner strength TO forgive..... it's that difficult for me AND that important.
I'm so appreciative of your read...your visits are always so welcomed, my friend

It's also that we learn how to forgive, too.
Both asking for forgiveness and doling it out
are exceedingly difficult for me. I don't really know why but I work on it. For myself and those deserving..... being a better person, is my impetus.
It's nice seeing you and I hope your father is doing better and that you are doing well, my friend 🙏
I really appreciate your thoughtful remarks, Tim
Thx for reading

Bold is the trust we put in and when it is lost we always beg bent on knees for forgiveness almost like prayer. lets hope that it's answered because you deserve that

Re. forgiveness.
Wow, yes, wow because of the, well everything. A poem we can all relate to. Great visual, like someone reaching out, holding their hand up as if to say, "Ok, I was wrong." Trust is a delicate thing, wafer thin in fact when it comes to the breach. Once trust is broken, it can never be fixed. Sure, forgiveness, as you alude to, is like a plaster that covers the sore. But however much we try to convince ourselves, the nagging doubt remains, I. E, "What's he or she up to, why are they late?" etc. So the sore never heals properly. I think only in the true definition of love, does trust exist because with love, it is all we will ever need from that one person... until lol. 😄. No, it isn't funny & when you lose trust it can feel worse than death. Good luck in your quest, not so much for forgiveness because that is easier to obtain than trust. They are certainly NOT the same thing.

Thank you sooo much for reading, Billy.
Your thoughts are so valuable and appreciated. I completely agree that forgiveness and trust are two separate entities. No doubts there. I know that it's seemingly impossible to re-establish trust after a betrayal, but not impossible. It's dependant upon the people involved, imo. There individual capacities for both trust and forgiveness. It's all so personal and yes, difficult at times. I have a really hard time with both, once they're broken. However, in my older age.. I'm working to improve myself and that includes my capacity for forgiveness and ability to trust. It's hard work... but anything worthy, usually is.
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing insights and much love, my friend :)

Re. forgiveness.
7th Mar 2021 11:26pm
This is the problem in our post-modern world of anger and hate...no-one can be forgiven...we are all "Saints" and everywhere we find "Sinners" to burn and torture...we each carry a few pieces of wood and a handful of nails looking for someone to crucify. I love this, Blue...and even with those we love...we now struggle to forgive.
Cheers...Harry

Re: Re. forgiveness.

I agree, dear Harry 🙏(it's sooo lovely seeing you, btw!) It's become increasingly difficult for me to ask for forgiveness and to dole out forgiveness. I am working on it currently... I know it's not like wiping a chalk board and *poof* everything is as it once was, but we can't start to mend and heal.. if there's no communication to do so. It starts with that capacity of forgiving (which IS difficult at first) Then you can build trust from there.
I'm so glad you enjoyed reading and that you get it, too, my lovely friend...Thank you for the generous list add and all your kindness.
